My friends and family are constantly asking me what’s there to do in Westchester County. There’s so much out there, I promise…You just have to do your research! A few of my favorite things to do are:
1. Grab food/drinks with friends! Some of my go to spots include:
Saint George Bistro-Hastings on Hudson, NY
Polpettina-Eastchester, NY
Moderne Barn- Armonk, NY
2. Working out (I know crazy, but I swear these workout studios are FUN!)
Transform, Tuckahoe
Club Sweat, Greenwich
Total Fusion, White Plains
3. Attend local events
Bloomingdale’s, White Plains always hosts the best fashion shows and events in Westchester. They are constantly having events each month. It’s a great way to network with other women! I met my FAVORITE bloggers at their fashion show events.
Professional Women of Westchester @profwomenwest_putnam hosts a ton of events throughout the year. They provide networking opportunities, information sharing, and professional development! I highly recommend attending one of their events if you want to meet and network with business’s in Westchester!
You can also check out @westchesterbloggerbabes for upcoming events and subscribe to their newsletter so you’re in the know!
4. Wine and Food Week (June 3-9)
Westchester Magazine puts together an unforgettable week of stuffing your face with the most delicious foods in Westchester County while drinking the day/night away with friends and family. My favorite event during the week hands down is the burger and beer blast at the Kensico Dam (I think this is everyone’s favorite event). There are over 30 different resturant’s competing for the best burger and YOU choose which one is your favorite. So basically you try 30 different burgers and drink mango blue moons the whole night. Can it get any better?
5. Dinner with Jeanne
Jeanne M is Lohuds food reporter and an Instagram star if I do say so myself (follow lohud_food if you want your taste buds to burst!). Jeanne hosts exclusive dinners at new and up coming restaurants in Rockland and Westchester County. I was lucky enough to attend one of her dinners a few months back at Donjito in Mamaroneck. The chef brought out a 3 course meal with delicious margaritas (the stronger the better, am I right?) My favorite part about the dinner was meeting Jeanne. She is such a sweetheart! I felt like I was meeting a local celeb! I highly recommend attending the next dinner with Jeanne!
